Qu. 1. I want to join CISF as Constable/GD. From where should I get detailed instructions and terms and condition for recruitment in CISF.
Ans: The recruitment of Constable/GD are advertised in Employment News/Rojgar Samachar and leading news papers of country. You can get all the information relating to availability of application form, eligibility condition, physical standard, written examination etc from these News papers/periodicals as and when the vacancies are advertised.

Qu. 2. I have applied as Constable/GD in CISF I have not yet received my admit card. How can I get the status of my application.
Ans: You can contact the CISF helpline of your Zone/Sector. The CISF helpline number may be seen from CISF website. www.cisf.gov.in

Qu. 3. I am resident of UP where should I submit my application for the post of Constable/GD.
Ans: You can submit your application to the Application Receiving Authority as per details mentioned in the Advertisement for the post of Constable/GD.

Qu. 4. What is the age required for recruitment of Constable/GD in CISF.
Ans: The age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as on 1st August of the year of the recruitment.

Qu. 5. I am resident of Haryana, whether I can appear for recruitment of constable/GD in other State/UT.
Ans: The candidates are eligible only in the States and UTs to which they belong.

Qu. 6. I have passed Matriculation from a board other then State/Central board. Whether I will be eligible for the post of Constable/GD in CISF.
Ans: The educational qualification for the Constable/GD in CISF 10 class pass from recognized board/university. The candidates who produce certificate other than the recognized State/Central Board they have to submit Certified True Copy of Govt. of India Notification declaring such qualification equivalent to Matric/10th Class pass for service under the Govt. of India. In case of failure to submit the same in spite of reminder in the admit card their candidature may be rejected.

Qu. 7. Whether there is age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC for Constable/GD.
Ans: The candidates may refer to the advertisement for relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC.

Qu. 8. I am ST of Rajasthan and domiciled in UP. Whether I can be considered an ST in UP for Constable/GD
Ans: Yes you can be considered as a ST candidate in the State of UP if you are a ST Candidate and domiciled in the State of UP.

Qu. 9. During the process of recruitment for Constable/GD I was given rejection slip due to under height/chest/failed in PET. What should I do now.
Ans: You can appeal to the appellate authority on the same day.

Qu. 10. I have appealed against rejection in PET. The appellate authority rejected my appeal. To whom should I prefer further appeal.
Ans: There is no provision for 2nd appeal in the rules.

Qu. 11. I appeared for written examination for Constable/GD. When its result will be declared.
Ans: The result will be shown in CISF website (www.cisf.gov.in) as and when it is declared.
